At Strides 2 Thrive we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change. Since our beginning in 2016, we’ve been driven by the same mission and values.
Support, Empowerment, Progress and Advocacy
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Strides 2 Thrive emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

Strides 2 Thrive is based upon the idea of "Dignity of Risk." Autonomy and self-determination, the ability to make your own decisions. High quality care that encourages all individuals to make decisions and have choice in the daily events of their lives.
OUR MISSION
It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society, and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it most. Strides 2 Thrive is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it.

How We Started
Jen and Joe Vance had a mission to help make the world a better place. Based on years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and seeing a need within our community, Strides 2 Thrive was created.
Along our path of wanting to improve the community we love, we focused on the values of self-determination, individual choice and dignity of risk.
We are dedicated to offering individuals and their families an opportunity to achieve self-determined goals. Our services strive to promote choices intended to meet each person's interests and individual needs
