24 Hour Care
Strides 2 Thrives' residential services provide quality residential housing which facilitates opportunities for individuals to become fully integrated and involved in their community. Our residential services allow for 24 hour care.
The care each resident receives is individualized to needs and preferences. The level of support is determined by the individuals' support team.

At Strides 2 Thrive, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. It’s where we grow and develop lasting relationships with the people we call family. But for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, finding a place that meets their unique needs and allows them to live independently can be a challenge. That’s where we come in. In our home and community-based group homes, we help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible.
Our homes are designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. Each home is unique and offers a range of amenities that cater to the needs and interests of each individual. Our staff has state certified trainings to provide personalized care and support, designed to help each resident feel at home.

Spacious rooms: Rooms are designed to provide plenty of space to move around and are customized based on likes and taste.

Comfortable furniture: We understand that having comfortable furniture turns a house into a home. Each home is designed to encourage socialization and activity.

Neat kitchens: Our kitchens are equipped with everything needed and are designed to be accessible to everyone. We encourage our residents to participate in meal planning and preparation.

Individualized Service Planning
When someone is ready to move into a Strides 2 Thrive Group Home, we take the time to get to know their interests and personalities. Our homes are staffed with highly trained, caring and dedicated Direct Support Professionals. Together as a support team, individualized service plans are developed to assist every individual achieve their dreams and goals.

At Strides 2 Thrive, we provide a variety of support and service options designed around the needs and interests of the individuals in each home. We believe in a flexible, person-centered approach that provides all individuals in our Community-based Residences with a level of care designed to help them thrive and feel at home. Our support services may include assistance with:

Personal hygiene: Our staff are trained to assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing.

Cooking and housekeeping: We encourage our residents to participate in meal planning and preparation. Our staff is available to assist with cooking and housekeeping tasks as needed.

Coordination of transportation: Getting around can be challenging for individuals with disabilities. We work with our residents to coordinate transportation to appointments, activities and community events.

Social skills development: We believe that social skills development is essential for our residents to build meaningful relationships and participate in community activities.

Financial management: Our staff can assist with budgeting, bill paying and financial management.

Accessing community resources and events: We work with our residents to identify community resources and events that meet their interests and needs.
Our residences and staff are suited to handle the unique needs of each individual. We help with coordinating specialist such as behaviorists, nutritionists and medical consultants on an as-need basis.
